teachers and false prophets often steal sermons and prophecies from true teachers and true prophets of God and pass them off as their own in order to increase their glory. This was true of false prophets in the Old Testament who passed off the prophecies of true prophets as their own and false teachers in Jesus's day who often stole Christ's teaching and taught them as their own. This is the reason Jesus told His disciples to do what the false religious teachers teach them but don't copy their hypocrisy. I myself have been a victim of a false prophet, Jenn Johnson from Redding, CA, who is constantly stealing my sermons, prophecies, and anointed songs and passing them off as her own for her own glory. She has even read or heard about my encounters with God and passed them off as her testimonies. Because false teachers and false prophets are growing in number in our churches, we must ask God for the gift of discernment, so we know how to discern, not only whether a sermon or prophecy being preached is a word of God or not, but if the spirits inside the teachers and prophets are from God or not.
