Leadership in God's Kingdom

Leaders know their sheep and decide a battle strategy based on the level of spirituality of their sheep:

(1) Moses's battle strategy - Moses pleaded the blood of Jesus over the Israelites who couldn't do much for themselves because they were slaves for 430 years and asked God to judge their enemies. When the Israelites arrived at the Red Sea, Moses declared God's words all night over the Red Sea to open a way of salvation for the Israelites, so they could walk through it, which is symbolically of removing all lies from the minds of the Israelites, so they can see the truth of the gospel and claim it.

(2) Nehemiah's battle strategy - Nehemiah asked the Israelites to hold a trowel in one hand to build the walls of Jerusalem and a sword in another to destroy the weapons of their enemies. For Nehemiah, because his sheep were not slaves for 430 years and did not have blind minds, he could ask them to use the truth they knew to strengthen their faith and fight off their enemies.

(3) Joshua's battle strategy - Because Joshua's sheep or army were mighty men of valor who had all their hearts circumcised, or purified from lies, they were strong men of faith who could take enemy territory for God's Kingdom. Because their spiritual walls were up, these mighty men of valor did not suffer from the attacks of their enemies because there were no holes in their walls. Thus, they could face any enemies and conquer them.

So, if God has called you to be a leader in His Kingdom, use the Moses's battle strategy if your sheep have been captives for a long time and can't do much for themselves. If your sheep know God's truth but need time to strengthen their faith before taking enemy territory, use the Nehemiah's battle strategy. If their faith is strong and is ready to conquer lands for God, then use the Joshua's battle strategy. Mostly likely, your congregation will use all 3 battle strategies when fighting their enemies since most churches are made up of people of different faith levels, so it is wise as a leader to let your sheep decide which battle strategy they will use.
